That driver with Image Capture (macOS Catalina) does not enable my scanner to scan slides, just documents on the glass. Luckily, on my own following a Google search, I discovered Epson-recommended (!) third party software called VueScan at. It has been in use for years and has overwhelmingly positive reviews - including many from DP Review readers.
